Our new DC stations started to appear along the Slovak roads. Their functionality is very different from our AC stations, so let’s introduce them a bit.
Each of the DC stations has two built-in cables with a connector for fast charging – CHAdeMO and CCS Combo 2 with power up to 60 kW
The charging station is ready for use when the LED strip above the corresponding connector is green. Remember to always use only clean and undamaged connectors.
In order to start charging at our DC charging station, you must have an RFID card with which you authorize yourself. You can get it after a quick registration at https://app.ejoin.eu/registration?lang=SK.
Please follow the steps below for proper start-up:
- Remove the desired connector from the rack and plug it into the vehicle.
- Select the selected connector on the charging station display.
- Select the card authorization option, attach it to the indicated location and wait for the system to authorize you.
- Select your desired charging mode – automatic charging, timed charging or by kWh.
- The charging station initiates charging and the display shows the charging time and charging information.
- If both connectors are used, the second customer repeats all previous points and charging is initiated.
You can check the charging process at any time by touching the display and selecting the connector you are using.
To stop charging:
- On the charging station display, select the connector you are using by touching it.
- Cancel charging by attaching the card.
- Unlock the connector from your car using the corresponding button in your car, in the electric car app or on the key fob.
What to do if the LED strip above the connector is red?
You wanted to start charging but the LED marking is red? Try simply restarting the station. You can do this by pressing the “emergency stop” button and then rotating it to its original state.
What to do if the station is not working?
Call us on +421 424 111 111 and tell us your location and the charging station number. This number can be found on the side of each publicly accessible station. If for some reason this number is not there, please report the relevant serial number of the station.
The helpline may also ask you for other information, such as the model of the car being charged, the authorisation method used and so on.
We wish you many successful charging sessions and don’t forget to follow our social networks, where you will always find out about any new locations where our charging stations have been added.
