Safety and technical features of each PORTY charging station
- AC and DC leakage current monitor (AC 30 mA, DC 6 mA) – in combination with the station electronics, it functions similarly to a residual current device
- Oversized power relay – reduces overheating, energy losses, and fire risk
- Simple and intuitive replacement of power cables – requires a little more force, but guarantees high-quality contact
- Automatic detection of power supply type and maximum permissible current – the user cannot manually set a charging current higher than is safe
- Option to connect to an external Modbus TCP electricity meter via WiFi (preferably Eastron SDM630 with our Modbus2WiFi converter) – allows charging exclusively from photovoltaic surpluses
- Advanced control options, schedules, and other settings

Planned changes from 2026
- Thermal sensors in power connectors that detect electrical faults and overheating of plugs or sockets in a timely manner and automatically limit or stop charging to prevent the risk of fire
- Monitoring the internal temperature of the charging station – PORTY is already equipped with an internal temperature sensor, and we will actively monitor the data.
- Remote station configuration management via secure VPN, further improving customer service and enabling technical issues to be resolved without physical intervention
- The built-in electricity meter will be MID certified.
- We will supplement the integrated LTE modem with the option of eSIM
